
WHAT IS FIT KIDS?
FIT KIDS Philosophy is to educate, promote healthy eating, encourage good citizenship, build self esteem, and motivate kids to become more physically active. Through progressive training and a creative exercise program that incorporates muscle strength, endurance, flexibility, speed and agility, cross-training, as well as cardio respiratory conditioning, we can help children engage in daily physical activity and help eliminate childhood obesity. Children will experience the benefits of physical activity and stretching, progressing at their own speed in a safe, non-competitive environment, perform goal setting, and experience pride in personal accomplishment. Most important, they will learn life-long positive habits while having FUN!
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Ali is a certified personal trainer and secondary teacher. She has worked with hundreds of individuals of all ages and walks of life. Ali has taught adult Boot Camps, coached youth swimming and soccer, and run children's fitness programs. She also enjoys competing in triathlons and running events, as well as coaching the members of Smith Sports Endurance Team. Learn more about Ali here.
Mike is a certified personal trainer who has 6 years of boxing experience and 2 years of training individuals for Navy Special Warfare. Besides working with clients in a one-on-one setting, Mike has also taught adult Boot Camps and
run children's fitness programs. Mike enjoys working out himself, especially doing TRX and kettlebell training. He has also begun to dabble in the triathlon and running world, and is a member of Smith Sports Endurance Team.
